Chronic Pain is a subject that has been with me since I was a little girl. As I have grown and learned more about my body, health and wellness, and what doctors actually don't know, I am ever more grateful for understanding what chronic pain is and why it is so difficult to stop. In understanding chronic pain better, I can appreciate what doctors can do to help with chronic pain and then focus on what I need to do to fill in the gaps...which ends up being quite a lot.

In many of the pain management groups I'm in, I hear too many people crying out in fear and hopelessness over the chronic pain they experience and how little doctors can do for them. Pain medications are being taken away, people can only have so many injections before it becomes a health risk, and surgeries are not always successful. My heart is heavy for chronic pain sufferers. I understand that they want their life back, their body back, their ability to feel normal again...back. But for many chronic pain sufferers, normal takes on a whole new meaning, a new body, a new life.

So I created this video to help empower chronic pain sufferers and people who know and love someone who is a chronic pain sufferer. It is short and concise and begins opening the door to what I truly believe is the best chronic pain solution. I think many doctors would agree with me. Over the coming weeks and months, I will be creating more videos about what I call counter-pain strategies. There are many, so it will take some time.

You can watch today's new upload here:

I hope you enjoy this video. It comes from a deep desire to support, encourage and empower chronic pain sufferers. In managing my own chronic pain throughout the years, I have found one of my best counter-pain strategies, aside from corrective posture, is my attitude. When I have an attitude of gratitude I can look at the chronic pain that arises more realistically with joy and determination. I take my bag of counter-pain strategies, look to see who I can encourage, and face another day with hope and purpose.

Make it a great day! Happy Posturing!! (Don't forget to leave a comment!)
